About the LEARN NC Announcement List	English (USA)
LEARN NC sends out monthly email updates to subscribing educators. These updates contain summaries of new articles, information about new resources, and announcements of online course offerings and upcoming professional development opportunities. Worried about spam and viruses? This email list is controlled so that only LEARN NC staff can post messages. You will not have to worry about receiving unwanted email through the list. However, it is possible that you may receive an email that appears as though it came from our server, and which contains a virus, a worm, or advertising. If you receive such email, it is almost assuredly not sent from our server, and there is no way to prevent other people from sending email with our "from" address, whether deliberately or by unknowingly activating a virus. Subscribing to the LEARN NC Announcement List
Subscribe to Lnc-updates by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
